Uzbekistan E-Visa: Step-by-Step Application Guide

Applying for an Uzbekistan e-visa is a simple and convenient online process. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure a smooth application experience.

You can apply for an e-visa only if your trip to Uzbekistan is within the next three months. Citizens of 76 countries are eligible for an electronic tourist visa. The full list of eligible nationalities is available in our blog.


Before starting your application, make sure you have a digital photo and a scanned copy of your passport ready:



  • The photo must be 35x40 mm, with a resolution of 300 dpi, and a file size not exceeding 1 MB.

  • The passport scan should be clear, easily readable, and no larger than 500 KB. Only the main page is required.

The e-visa fees are as follows:

  • $20 for a single-entry visa

  • $35 for a double-entry visa

  • $50 for a multiple-entry visa


Currently, payments can be made using Visa and Master cards.


Once you have your photo, passport copy, and card for payment ready, visit e-visa.gov.uz to begin your application. Click on the Application for e-visa button to get started.

It is recommended to ignore the “Surname changed” and “Name changed” tick boxes, as selecting them often leads to a system error during the final stage of the application.

It is recommended to ignore the “Citizenship of other states” tick box, as selecting it often leads to a system error at the final stage of the application. When filling out the e-visa application, enter the details of the passport you plan to use for entry into Uzbekistan. Dual citizens do not need to provide information about their other passport to obtain the e-visa or to present it when entering or traveling within Uzbekistan.

Upload your photo and passport copy, ensuring they meet the standards provided earlier. If the files do not comply with the requirements, an error may occur.

After entering your email address, completing the security check ("Enter text from image"), and clicking the Save button, an email will be sent with an account activation link and code.

To activate your account, click on the link provided in the email. Don't forget to copy the code.

On the website, go to the payment section, enter your email address and the provided code, complete the security check, and click Next.

To complete the payment, enter your card details and click the red button to finalize the process.

The system will prompt you to wait while your request is being processed. Please do not close the window. Once you receive a notification confirming successful payment, check your email inbox for confirmation.

Within approximately three working days, you will receive an email regarding the status of your visa.

To enter Uzbekistan, you must present either a printed (recommended) or electronic version of your visa along with your passport. You can download it by visiting the visa status check page: https://e-visa.gov.uz/status and entering your visa code.
